In February, It’s Time for the Lucerne Carnival!

On with your masks and costumes! From 12 – 17 February it’s that time again. For many of the townspeople, their favourite time of year begins with the carnival. Bizarre figures in fantastical masks and costumes parade through Lucerne’s alleyways, while musicians blow their instruments as hard as they can and thousands of costumed revellers dance the winter away. Book yourself a short break and be part of this age-old tradition.
