Richard Gere Visits Israel's Cultural Capital to Open Tel Aviv University Film Festival

Actor Richard Gere made his third trip in the past year to Israel on June 4th, as one of the guests of honor for Tel Aviv University’s International Student Film Festival. Gere’s four day visit included three workshops for aspiring filmmakers at the Cinemateques in Tel Aviv, Sderot and Nazareth, as well as several events which were open to the media and the Israeli general public.

From its historical Bauhaus Architecture, which was recently declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to the newly built Rose Cooper Israel Ballet Center, Tel Aviv has plenty to offer.
